Partnership with Senior Faith Leadership Programme

Scripture & Violence team members have partnered with Faith in Leadership to deliver sessions as part of their leadership training programme for Jewish, Christian, and Muslim religious leaders from across the UK. In March 2022, the S&V team led an initial workshop for the Senior Faith Leadership Programme at St George’s House in Windsor Castle. The S&V team led interactive discussions about violent-sounding scriptural texts, talking with session participants about how such conversations could be relevant to people in the various communities that they serve.  

A second workshop will be held at Windsor Castle in June 2022 as part of SFLP’s ongoing training programme.
